Our medical team have been helping families affected by the October 2014 landslides on the island of Ometepe.  In this issue we look at this valuable work and encourage our supporters to take up a fundraising challenge to raise money for our health clinics on Ometepe.

On 8th October, a night of torrential rain caused landslides on the island of Ometepe, leaving 300 people homeless and many other families without their crops.  SIFT is working to provide food and basic supplies for these families affected by this disaster.
