SIFT Sunday, on 29th April, is a wonderful opportunity for you and your church to celebrate the work that SIFT is doing in Nicaragua, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness over the years and looking ahead to the future. We would love it if you could save the date in your church calendar and consider:
- Showing a short video or presentation about SIFT’s work as part of your Sunday service.
- Praying for the people of Nicaragua and SIFT’s projects.
- Organising a fundraising event to raise money for SIFT.

You could start your SIFT Sunday by showing a short video looking back over what SIFT has achieved in Nicaragua over the past 15 years.
It would be wonderful if you could spend part of your service praying for SIFT’s work in Nicaragua. You can download our Praise and Prayer Sheet to guide your time of prayer.
If you have more time in your service to focus on SIFT’s ministry in Nicaragua then you could show our SIFT Sunday presentation, which is supplied with a script.
Why not challenge your congregation to a short quiz about Nicaragua?
After your service why not give people a taste of Nicaragua? You can download our recipes for a traditional Nicaragua meal of rice and beans, beef with a parsley and garlic sauce, and cabbage salad.
